~Pastor Dr. LiLi
She is a pastor’s granddaughter of the Honorable Pastor Dr. B.L. Gregory, who grew up as a youth under this holiness, spirit-filled, and oneness ministry. Even as a youth, she always was assisting Dr. Gregory, from making church/pastoral anniversary programs or whatever Dr. Gregory needed. It did not seem like work — it was rather fun just helping and being around her grandmother. She recalls being baptized by Dr. Gregory at her paternal grandmother’s church during one of Dr. Gregory’s great revivals — old school, baptism tub in the basement. She tarried for the Holy Ghost with the old-time saints as they were singing “Come by Here Good Lord” — this was at the tender age of twelve.

~Pastor Dr. LiLi took her spiritual walk seriously in her youth and respected leadership. She witnessed the miracles throughout the years that the Lord did in her grandmother's life, which was an awesome example of trusting and serving. When she went to college, she wondered what the “world” was like and decided church was not going to be her priority, as most young people do when they leave home. She also enrolled in the military and is a Gulf War Veteran, as a medic. She was encouraged to work at the VA Medical Center when she returned from the military, which she would later understand why. She had a desire to complete her original degree — chemistry — her first year in college.
However, upon encouragement of her grandmother she decided return to the medical profession in which she began while in the military. While working she was blessed to complete her nursing degree and to her associate ending with her terminal degree, doctorate degree as a nurse practitioner. During this time of her life, she was blessed with three wonderful children from her marriage. Of course during this time the Lord started pulling at her heart strings it was time to return back and make Him her priority. She recalls that glorious day of going to the alter and surrendering her life back to him. She worked in the church as an usher and assisting her grandmother as she did in her youth. Serving was just in her nature. Several years later, the Lord pulled on her heart strings with another calling, ministry.

The profound way he called her with many witnesses, could never be denied. The Lord had been making the ministerial call one particular week in 2005. This particular Sunday, she said if Dr. Gregory sings, “Walk with me Lord”, I will yield. During the altar call Dr. Gregory sang her usual song, “You Don’t Know Me Like the Lord, Do”. To her amazement she stopped and began signing, “Walk with me Lord.” She surrendered to the Lord’s call. ~Pastor Dr. LiLi never thought she would have this title in her name. When there is a calling, the Lord orchestrates your path. At the start of her pastoral ship she landed to the exact time to retire from the VA Medical Center. The mantel that has been passed to her is of great importance?? to the kingdom of God. She believes in empowering all she meets, with the Lord they we can live spiritually and greatly in all aspects of our lives. The Lord has given her the vision: “Preach, Teach, and Reach” through him. She believes we must reach people where they are, and encourage them, they CAN with Christ. She believes even in today’s culture; the love of Christ should be forefront in drawing those to Christ. She agrees with Maya Angelou expression, people might for your name, what you said, perhaps what you did, but never forget how you make them feel.
